Attitude for Success

attitude for success

Many young people struggle with the question, "What is the attitude for success in life?" To be fair, only the ones who are not ignorant and want to better themselves do, but the answer is nowhere to be found. Almost as if it were some mythical being. But why does this question bear any importance?

Because our lives are built around the concept of a “positive attitude”. So, this must be very crucial to our success in life and survival in society?

I knew the importance of it from the start as it came across in many forms, mostly when someone wanted to degrade me. "You're not going to get far with this attitude."
Okay, what should I do then.
"Change your behavior. Be more serious." Or “Intelligence doesn’t matter."
Then what is it that actually does.
"Don't you know? You are the genius one?" And the most common one, "You did not deserve it."
Why?
"Because you are incompetent and there are others who are better than you." Even though everyone commented, none provided a constructive answer. It took me ages to realize that PEOPLE DO NOT PROVIDE ANSWERS, THEY JUST PASS COMMENTS. You have to find the answers for yourself and no one helps you. Not even your closest friends, not because they don’t want to but because they can’t. Everyone has a different answer, or should I say a different RIGHT answer, which is only applicable to them and no other person can completely copy it. And it goes without saying that you, also, cannot copy it from someone else. To understand the question better, first, understand what type of person you have been throughout your life. Your preferences define you; they define your goals and ultimately the struggle you have to put into it. Once you understand who you are, it’s not difficult to know what you want and how much of it can you get. In short, THERE IS NO RIGHT ATTITUDE TO HAVE IN LIFE. In fact, I believe there is no such thing as “attitude” or “positive attitude”. These are made-up terms so that motivational speakers can wear a suit and a tie and have a job so that they can preach about something. If what I believe is true, it raises a serious question. Perhaps, the most devastating one. "If this is the case, is our life and struggle based upon a lie?" That I don’t have an answer to, yet. Now, if attitude was a bogus concept and there is no such thing, what did we misunderstand. I have come to know, from experience, that it is much more simple than that. It simply is the motivation to analyze oneself; one's behavior, thinking and actions. To reevaluate your actions and to bring a positive change in your behavior. To train yourself to be considerate. To keep looking on the bright side of things while also being your fair share of hopeless. Knowing that things can go very wrong as much as you hope them to be perfect. And most importantly, once the result is out, having faith that you received what was best for you and not letting yourself dive into despair. Do you know the beauty of it? You might completely disagree with me and be completely right because this was MY RIGHT ANSWER that I found after years of struggle. And your right answer might be exactly opposite. It surely is different for everyone. l can say this with complete certainty. As it turns out, it really was a mythical being and I believed in the existence of it my whole childhood but as I grew up, realized was a lie. "The universally accepted attitude to achieve success."
